Yeah, sure, as far as I know. I've read the introduction and the first chapter of the book "Because we live here." and I could give a 5 minute response to it. How much time do we have to present?
Writing within, across, beyond. Goldblatt, while situating himself in Dewey, argues for a more activist role in teaching/learning. Lets be honest, do the powers that be really want an educated populace? So if we were successful at engaging our community in literacy training, what would the critique outside of the academy?
